Where Have You Been?

For the
half dozen loyal leftbrainers out there, I apologize
for being incommunicado the past month. I know it's a
poor excuse, but I've been trying to find a job, thus
have been on the road for most of that time.
Why haven't you posted?

In the
lightning fast world of blogging, readership drops by
orders of magnitude for every day no posts are made.
I apologize to those who have “tuned in”
the past few days and found nothing fresher than four
days old. I plead two excuses: I have a day job, and
I spend a lot of time on each post.
My day job (surgeon) is erratic, and I often have days in a row without any free time. And in my spare hours, when I get them, I like to take enough time with these posts so they don’t look like a text message or a cut-and-paste job from the endless other blogs.
But I’m not going anywhere, so keep checking back and keep the comments coming.
