Why haven't you posted?

In the
lightning fast world of blogging, readership drops by
orders of magnitude for every day no posts are made.
I apologize to those who have “tuned in”
the past few days and found nothing fresher than four
days old. I plead two excuses: I have a day job, and
I spend a lot of time on each post.
My day job (surgeon) is erratic, and I often have days in a row without any free time. And in my spare hours, when I get them, I like to take enough time with these posts so they don’t look like a text message or a cut-and-paste job from the endless other blogs.
But I’m not going anywhere, so keep checking back and keep the comments coming.
